C&S Events and Catering, LLC is a full-service events company led by Aimee Cheek, bringing more than 30 years of experience producing weddings, special events, and large-scale corporate conferences. Founded in 2020 in the historic Citizens and Southern Bank building, C&S quickly became known for its thoughtful design, seamless execution, and elevated hospitality.

Today, the company has grown into a comprehensive event and catering partner, offering off-site catering, professional bartending with a full alcohol license, and experienced service staff at the location of your choosing. In addition to full-scale planning and execution for weddings, festivals, and conferences, C&S is proud to call The Carolina on Southport home—a beautifully designed event venue and commissary kitchen that reflects the brand’s continued commitment to excellence, versatility, and unforgettable experiences.

NOW OPEN, The Carolina on Southport is a refined event destination on the edge of downtown Spartanburg. Designed with beautiful neutral décor, the space offers a timeless setting for weddings, corporate events, meetings, and special celebrations. As a full-service venue, C&S Events and Catering provides in-house catering and bar service with a full alcohol license—creating a seamless, one-stop experience for every event.

The venue accommodates seated dinners for up to 175 guests and cocktail receptions for up to 280, with complimentary on-site parking for added convenience. A welcoming covered porch, outdoor patio, and a hidden nature trail for stunning photos—along with space for a tented event—allow gatherings to expand effortlessly.

Convenient, serene, and thoughtfully designed, 100 Southport Road is where Spartanburg gathers to celebrate.

OUR HISTORY: Citizens and Southern Events—where it all began. Located in the heart of downtown Spartanburg on the edge of Morgan Square, our first venue was housed in the historic 1900 Citizens and Southern bank building, proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This iconic Spartanburg event venue served as the foundation and launch point for what is now C&S Events and Catering.

As of May 1, 2026, we have concluded our lease at this location and transitioned our operations to The Carolina on Southport, our new Spartanburg event venue. While our address has changed, our commitment to exceptional weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and full-service catering—both on-site and off-site—continues to grow.

We are deeply grateful for the memories created within these walls and look forward to welcoming you to our new home.

We are on the Move!
The team that created Citizens and Southern Events is relocating from downtown Spartanburg to a larger, more flexible venue and onsite parking called the @carolinaonsouthport. The new space, designed as a premier destination for weddings, corporate events, and special celebrations, is located at 100 Southport Road on the city’s Westside.
We’re moving at the end of April with the assistance of premier moving experts @mikes_movers. Message us for one last event, party or meeting at our downtown location before we head West 10 minutes.
